It’s been a fun week to cover D.C. politics, but a crummy week to work in D.C. government. LL knows that some hardworking, hyper-smart, ultra-competent, and reasonably good looking District employees have been embarrassed to be associated with the week’s events only because of who their employer is.

That’s a shame, cause these folks work hard—most days—without much fanfare to make the city a better place. And it’s certainly not their fault that some of the city’s top elected leaders made some very poor decisions and showed remarkably bad judgment.

So in light of one of the worst weeks in D.C.’s political history, LL would like to offer up a palette cleanser of sorts: A baby picture. Specifically, a picture of LL’s bean showing some District pride (even though he lives in Rockville).
