It’s official, At-Large Councilmember Vincent Orange has won re-election. With all the votes counted, Orange cruised to an easy 1,746 vote margin over his closest challenger, Sekou Biddle.

That’s a far bigger spread than Orange had as of a few minutes ago, before thousands of absentee and provisional votes were tallied by the D.C. Board of Elections. After April 3’s primary, Orange had a slim 543 vote lead over Biddle.
