Budget autonomy plaintiff Phil Mendelson

Do you have a plan to vote?

Let us tell you the information you need to register and cast a ballot in D.C.

Well, there are a few safe bets with around 48 percent of D.C. votes reported.

Congressional Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton will, not shockingly, keep her seat—-she’s currently got more than 116,000 votes for 89 percent.

Ward 8 Councilmember Marion Barry has more a 7,000 vote edge over opponent Jahuar Abraham, for 84 percent. And Ward 7 councilmember Yvette Alexander has 87 percent of votes in her race against Republican Ron Moten. Among unopposed councilmembers, Ward 4’s Muriel Bowser and Ward 2’s Jack Evans will also easily keep their seats.

And acting Council Chair Phil Mendelson gets to drop the “acting” from his title: So far, he’s got 72 percent against challenger Calvin Gurley‘s 26.

Lots more results here.
