Mayor Vince Gray is going to be in the inaugural parade shortly, that he knows for sure. But he’s pretty shaky on the details.
LL caught up to Gray just before he left the Wilson Building to go take part in the parade. Asked whether he’s going to riding in a car or walking, Gray says he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to walk, but he’d prefer it if he could. “I always walk parades, what are you talking about? I can out-walk anyone.”
Gray was similarly unaware of his location among the paraders. “I don’t know, I don’t know where we are in the parade.”
According to the inaugural committee, Gray will be walking walking/riding directly behind members of the U.S. Supreme Court, who come shortly after the president. Tune in to see if that’s actually how things go.
