Che Brown‘s back! The brother of former D.C. Council Chairman Kwame Brown was released from a District halfway house yesterday, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

Brown was sentenced to three months in prison in March on bank fraud charges. More importantly for LL’s purposes, U.S. Attorney Ron Machen has said that no one, including Brown, will face federal charges related to the shady payments he received from his brother’s campaign.

What’s next for the two-time bank fraudster? Five years of supervised release, according to the terms of his sentence. Brown’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, didn’t return LL’s request for comment.
