Tommy Wells‘ karaoke fundraiser last night at 14th Street’s Policy didn’t draw much of a crowd, but it did result in Wells and his entourage taking the stage for a rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer”.
Is the song an unhappy description of Wells’ chances to reach the mayor’s office? Maybe not—-one campaign worker at the event tells LL that their real song was “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” which sounds awfully money order-ish to LL.
