Marion Barry is back in action. After being laid up in Howard University Hospital for 16 days, the 77-year-old mayor-for-life was released, according to spokeswoman LaToya Foster.
Barry went to the hospital on Jan. 11 to be treated for a “blood infection,” according to a note read on his behalf at the Ward 8 Democrats straw poll. The hospitalization was the latest health problem for Barry, who told LL earlier this month that his diabetes has given him problems using his legs.
