Add one more to the list of Vince Gray staffers ditching his lame-duck administration. Gray confidante Steve Glaude, who runs the mayor’s Office of Community Affairs, will leave in late October to work for an affordable housing nonprofit.

Glaude’s headed to an executive director position at the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development, according to a press release from the group. Glaude declined to comment on his new job.

Glaude’s exit represents another blow for Gray’s administration, which has lost everyone from former Deputy Mayor Victor Hoskins to pugnacious mayoral flack Pedro Ribeiro as it winds down. Glaude especially has been a trusted aide: As Gray’s re-election effort stumbled earlier this year, Glaude took a leave from his District job to take a position in the campaign.
