There’s no lip-syncing to be found in David Catania‘s new ad. No puppets, either. The campaign’s new TV ad goes without gimmicks, instead touting Catania’s lengthy platform and education-policy work.

“Together, let’s build a city built on our shared values,” Catania says in the ad. “Equal opportunity, fairness, and playing by the rules.”

The ad starts running today on local cable stations, according to Catania campaign manager Ben Young. Young says the campaign is working on another ad but hasn’t finished it yet.
