Free D.C. news, delivered to your inbox daily.

It’s 8:01 p.m., which means polls just closed all around D.C., and city officials will soon start counting votes and releasing results. (If you’re still in line at a polling place, you can vote.) Check Washington City Paper often for live coverage from various campaign victory parties, free of the jokes about crucial Waukesha County that you’ll find among the national political press. (Here at City Paper, we only make meta-jokes about those jokes.)

You should also check out this interactive map of live election results that WAMU and Code for D.C. put together.
