Political pals turned D.C. Council campaign rivals Yvette Alexander and Vince Gray will quash their beef long enough tonight to ask some trivia questions.
Along with LL, the Ward 7 race foes will pose District-themed questions at D.C. Trivia Night at Sala Thai. Gray and Alexander aren’t strangers to throwing some public jabs, so who knows what will happen when they share emcee duties.
Event organizer (and statehood superfan) Josh Burch points out that the group behind the trivia, Neighbors United for D.C. Statehood, was started after Gray and Alexander (and a lot of other people) were arrested in a budget autonomy protest.
“It’s great they’re sharing a stage with our group,” Burch tells LL.
