Shows we’ve loved unconditionally, or at least liked unequivocally, playing tonight — and all on the early side:

Assembly Required. “Not entirely right . .. makes for a good deal of hilariously wrong,” observes Trey. Redrum, 6 p.m.

Edible Rex. “Quit your day job and take this show on the road!” urges Erin. Goethe Institut Maintstage, 6 p.m.

How many times will we keep listing The Horrors of Online Dating, which plays every night (Wed-Sun)? At least one more time. “I really can’t emphasize the viscera in visceral enough,” cautions/praises Ian. Playbill Cafe, 8 p.m.

Finally, we haven’t seen Finn McCool, this year’s opus from Dizzie Miss Lizzie’s Roadside Revue yet, but we’re generally sympathetic to Miss Lizzie’s way of doing things. Baldacchino Gypsy Tent, 7:15.

See you at the tent.
