Ron Litman's DC TRASH has been one of the surprise hits of the seventh Capital Fringe Festival.
An interview with Ron Litman, the writer & performer (with composer/accompanist Tom Pile) of DC Trash, as musical satire considering the past, present, and future of our nation’s capitol through the eyes of a trash collector.

Litman has been driving a trash truck since he moved back to his native DC from Wisconsin in 2009. He studied theater at American University, made his professional stage debut at Arena Stage, and has toured the U.S. and Europe with the New York Street Theater Caravan.

DC Trash is Litman’s return to performing after a long absence, as you’ll hear. Its two performances today are sold out, but he has one more scheduled for Sunday, July 29 at 3:30 p.m. at the Baldacchino Gypsy Tent.
