Another food truck is going brick and mortar: BBQ Bus is teaming up with Denizens Brewing Co. to open a restaurant and brewery in downtown Silver Spring this summer.
The menu will include smoked pulled pork, Angus brisket, smoked chicken, and ribs. Brews will range from European-style lagers to American ales to sour and barrel-aged beers.
The place will have indoor seating overlooking the brewery in addition to a 150-seat beer garden. Denizens Brewing Co, which expects to be the largest production brewery in Montgomery County, will also have a space for live music and private events.
BBQ Bus was founded in 2011 by couple Che and Tadd Ruddell-Tabisola. (Che is the Executive Director for the DMV Food Truck Association.) Denizens Brewing Co. comes from Silver Spring natives Emily Bruno, Julie Verratti, and Jeff Ramirez.
