For PSL enthusiasts looking for a slightly stronger fix of pumpkin, Black Squirrel‘s Sixth Annual Smashing Pumpkin Beer Fest kicks off tonight. Aggressively advertised as “so much better than a pumpkin latte,” the event features 15 pumpkin beers on tap, including Elysian Punkaccino Coffee and Pumpkin Brown Ale, 21st Amendment He Said Pumpkin Belgian Triple, New Holland Ichabod Ale, and Howe Sound Pumpkineater.
Pumpkin fare will also be on hand in liquid form (pumpkin ice cream floats, roasted pumpkin soup), solid form (pumpkin veggie burgers, pumpkin mac and cheese, pumpkin pie), and other forms (pumpkin sloppy joes). Pumpkin overload? That’s exactly what Y&H’s column will cover next week.
The party starts at 5 p.m.
