If you’ve stopped by Union Market in the past several weeks, you’ve probably noticed a new wood-facaded stall next to Harvey’s Market with Asian products filling the shelves. That space is now home to Honeycomb, an Asian grocery from Toki Underground chef and owner Erik Bruner-Yang.
Honeycomb will sell homemade nuoc cham, hoisin sauce, kombucha, and kimchi along with other Asian snacks, candies, condiments, beverages, and cookbooks. The grocery will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Bruner-Yang already had a presence at Union Market with his Maketto pop-up, serving various noodle dishes, sandwiches, and bao.
Y&H has contacted Bruner-Yang for more details, so stay tuned.
