Just when everyone is so over the cronut, Dunkin’ Donuts is getting in on the hybrid pastry action. The chain is bringing a “special sampling vehicle” to Rosslyn tomorrow to dispense free “croissant donuts” and dark roast coffee. (The term “cronut” is trademarked by New York pastry chef Dominique Ansel, so Dunkin’ Donuts can’t use it.)

Take a picture in front of the vehicle and post it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #CroissantDDonut for the chance to win free doughnuts for a year.

The vehicle will be located on the corner of Wilson Street and Fort Myer Drive in Arlington from 7 to 9 a.m., or until supplies run out. It will then continue pimping out its wannabe cronuts on a tour throughout the northeast.
