Chef Will Artley is back in the kitchen after his departure from Pizzeria Orso. He’s hosting a Mexican pop-up called Amalia’s Fancy Dec. 1-3 in Alexandria’s Tres Hermanas.

Inspired by Artley’s Mexican roots and world travels, Amalia’s Fancy, named after his mom, will feature a $75 prix-fixe menu with drinks available a la carte. The 11 course meal will include dishes like Szechuan and ancho-crusted tuna with fermented cactus; oxtail samosa with mole and yogurt; Korean short rib tamale; and a foie gras and banana flan and cappuccino.

There will be three seatings each night at 6:15, 7, and 7:45 p.m. Tickets are available at roughindustries.com/collections/amalias-fancy.
