Ugly sweater season is here, and D.C. restaurants are on it. From sipping beer to brunching to karaoke, here are a few ways to take advantage of your tackiest attire.

Roofer’s Union 2446 18th St. NW When: Dec. 10, 6 p.m. What: Beers from 15 local breweries will be on tap, including 3 Stars’ holiday cask, Brewer’s Art’s Festivus, and Atlas’ La Saison Des Fete. There will be prizes for the best sweater, tie, socks, and “mystery outfit.” Admission is free, but guests are encouraged to bring a toy donation ($10-$20) for Mary’s Center Toy Drive.

Nick’s Riverside Grill 3050 K St. NW When: Dec. 13, 9 p.m. What: Party with food, drinks, and a DJ. The person with the ugliest sweater wins a ticket to the restaurant’s New Year’s Eve party with open bar and buffet.

STK 1250 Connecticut Ave. NW When: Dec. 14, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. What: Stop by for brunch for a live DJ throughout the afternoon and $18 bottomless brunch cocktails. Post photos of your tacky sweater during brunch on Instagram with the hashtag #STacKyBrunch for the chance to win brunch for two.

Rí Rá Irish Pub 3125 M St. NW When: Dec. 18, 5 p.m. What: Wear an ugly sweater and get $5 Sam Adams in the Victorian Bar and Theatre Room.

Republic 6939 Laurel Ave., Takoma Park, Md. When: Dec. 20, 10 p.m. What: The ugly sweater sing-along party features live band holiday-themed karaoke with South Rail’s Lara Supan. Chef Danny Wells is preparing his “top secret” family egg nog recipe, and mulled wine will also be available. The guest with the best sweater will win a $100 gift card.
