The rain has cleared up, giving way for an absolutely gorgeous day. And, it’s Friday. What better way to kick off your weekend than spending it with us at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Luce Foundation Center? (Trick question: There is no better way).

Here’s the deal: Tonight, at 6 p.m., the Beauty Pill Symphonette (Beauty Pill + a horn section) will be performing a special set of its music. The whole thing is free and there will be free tastings from the new Cotton & Reed Distillery (plus a cash bar with drinks and snacks. It is Friday after all).
