Trains were running with at least 15-minute headways, the transit agency added. Farther north, along a historically troublesome part of the Red Line, riders also experienced half-hour delays and crowding on Tuesday morning due to another track problem at the Medical Center station.
Metro says investigators arrived at the scene shortly after 6 a.m. to inspect the first track issue.
