Ah, the dog days of summer: when beaches beckon and shoppers promenade through Georgetown under white parasols.
The Georgetown Business Improvement District is kicking off a “ParasolShare” initiative on Friday to help people keep cool during the city’s notoriously hot months. Almost 50 businesses—including “stores, restaurants, salons, galleries, and hotels”—are participating in the parapluie pilot.
