D.C. police arrested a 42-year-old woman on Tuesday after they say she sexually assaulted three children by coaxing them into her Northeast home with sweets.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division is investigating Larona Steele in connection with an incident of sexual abuse that occurred on the 3500 block of Clay Place NE last month. According to MPD, Steele offered the juveniles “ice cream and popcorn” to bring them inside.

“Once inside the residence, the suspect locked the door and directed the victims to perform sexual acts on her,” a release explains. “Investigators believe that the suspect targeted juveniles, under the notion of selling them candy from her residence.”

Police say they believe there could be other victims. MPD is asking the public for more information by calling 202-727-9099.
