Hark, D.C. theater nerds: The Helen Hayes Awards announced its 2017 nominees. The big takeaway? Come From Away and Signature Theatre have the most nominations for a production and theater company, with 14 and 25 respectively. Of course, ever since TheatreWashington decided to split the annual local theater awards into two categories—the Helen Awards and the Hayes Awards—the entire awards ceremony feels like something of a marathon.
