She’s authored Edward Hopper, Edward Hopper: The Art and the Artist, Edward Hopper: The Complete Prints, Edward Hopper as Illustrator, Hopper’s Places, an essay for a 1993 Gagosian Gallery catalog called Edward Hopper, and she’s touring in support of Edward Hopper: An Intimate Biography, but tonight, former curator of the Hopper Collection at the Whitney Museum (and noted Hopper authority) Gail Levin ventures onto foreign soil—she’s talking about Hopper’s wife.
