It’s been over 30 years since Frankie Lee‘s rhythm and blues recordings have reached a sizable audience, but this Texas-born vocalist is still at it—touring relentlessly and occasionally releasing small-label product. A flamboyant performer who honed his chops with the Ike and Tina Turner Revue, Lee can be expected to wrap his rich tenor around soul obscurities as well as horn-driven classics by the likes of Joe Tex and Sam Cooke. At 9:30 p.m. at Tornado Alley, 11319 Elkin St., Wheaton. $8. (301) 929-0795. (Steve Kiviat)
