Tonight’s double bill is a feast for acoustic guitar aficionados. Headliner Adrian Legg‘s intricate style, which fuses elements of English and Celtic folk, blues, jazz, and even country, will remind some music lovers of American fret wizards like John Fahey and Leo Kottke. Opening the evening’s festivities is Gabriel Yacoub, who led Malicorne (the French equivalent of English folk-rock pioneers Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span) for over a decade. As a solo performer, Yacoub presents a fascinating mix of traditional and contemporary pieces that showcase his vocal and instrumental ability. At 8 p.m. at the Birchmere, 3901 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria. $13.50. (703) 549-5919. (Ken Roseman)
