Wrestling events usually pit good guy vs. bad guy, but the featured match in this year’s Survivor Series highlights two good guys, with Bret “The Hit Man” Hart taking on “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel (pictured) in a battle to the death—well, OK, it’s just a battle over that garishly oversize cummerbund known as the WWF Championship Belt. Insiders say that Diesel is slated to lose to Hart, who’ll stay on as champion until next spring’s Wrestlemania—wrestling, after all, is choreographed well in advance. Although the outcome will come as no surprise even to those who aren’t in the know, this match will be worth watching just to see Hart, who’s one of the best technical wrestlers around, topple the giant Diesel, who, although in possession of a Hoganesque charisma, doesn’t exactly have compelling skills. Also on hand for tag-team matches are WWF stars like Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Psycho Sid, Alaundra Blaze, and Isaac Yankem DDS, the wrestling dentist (a bad guy, of course). These, plus a Bill Clinton impersonator, will provide a nice alternative to PBS’s Sunday-night lineup. At 6:45 p.m. at USAir Arena, Landover. $12-200. (202) 432-7328. (Jose Padua)
