While no one is likely to confuse the new Ida 7-inch with the latest Pearl Jam release, the duo has begun to “rock out” a bit, moving steadily toward a more road-ready presentation for their beautiful harmonies and fluid guitar lines. Once labeled “the Scully and Mulder of indie-rock,” Liz Mitchell and Dan Littleton will be joined by Dan’s brother Michael (recently in town with NYC’s Containe). Opening this double-bill on the quiet side of pop is glo-worm, whose upcoming K Rec ords LP promises to provide dreamy accompaniment to swinging in your hammock. At 9 p.m. at the Black Cat, 1831 14th St. NW. $5. (202) 667-7960. (Andrew Webster)
