Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me a tenor—and a soprano, and a baritone, for the Wolf Trap Opera Company is performing Handel’s celebrated masterpiece, Julius Caesar. This version of the composer’s 1724 work features conductor Patrick Summers and the Filene Young Artists strutting and fretting about the stage to tell the tale of the roamin’ Roman and his main squeeze, Cleopatra. So, one-two-Brute, cry “Rock-it!,” and let slip the dogs of opera. At 3 p.m. Sunday; 8 p.m. Wednesday & Friday at the Barns of Wolf Trap, 1624 Trap Rd., Vienna. $39-42. (703) 255-1860.
