IN REPORTING ON LOCAL Quizine (“This Is Your Life?,” The District Line, 6/23), Clara Jeffery marred her generally interesting story by teeing off on—and evidently being teed off by—contestant Martin Morse Wooster.
In her account, he not only came across as a cantankerous ignoramus and sore loser, but also was labeled as a “rotund and brooding man who has occasionally written for Washington City Paper.”
Could it be that Jeffery was playing a quick game of office politics, given that Wooster is said to appear frequently in your offices and pages as Mark Jenkins?
