Do the puny loops on your lowercase G’s really represent your sex drive? Do your meticulously crossed 7’s reveal a love of detail, or full-blown faux-European pretentiousness? And that smiley-face dot over your I—is it the sign of a whimsical spirit, or a cry for help? Graphology, aka handwriting analysis, incites this sort of self-consciousness. Attendees of the Workshop on Handwriting Typologies, conducted by graphologist Paula Sassi, will deconstruct their signatures and, even better, learn to see into the souls of unsuspecting job applicants and pen pals. From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Catholic University’s Caldwell Hall, Room 111, Michigan Ave. & Harewood Rd. NE. $15. (202) 319-5481. (Nathalie op de Beeck)
