While those of his former bandmates now in Pearl Jam would probably have little difficulty selling out, say, China, vocalist/guitarist Mark Arm and Mudhoney have only recently graduated to playing midsize venues. But such (modest) success is unlikely to alter the bitter, sneering approach of this Seattle quartet, which on its new My Brother the Cow cheerfully advises “tormented” rock stars to kill themselves amid a din that can only be described as grunge. With Clawhammer at 8 p.m at Radio Music Hall, 9th & V Sts. NW. $12.50. (202) 393-0930. (Steve Kuhn)
