Funkier than techno, “jungle” is the latest high-tech dance-dub style to wow the Brits and develop a stateside cult following. Tonight’s “Rinse Out” showcases North American versions of the sound: Eight disc jockeys from Orlando (AK 1200) to Montreal (Double A & Twist) will be programming this amalgam of synthesized ambience and house- and hiphop-influenced beats, augmented by the dancehall reggae rapping of M.C.
