Don’t expect Fear vocalist Lee Ving to join Eddie Vedder’s boycott of classroom dissections: The veteran punk howler has a track record for non-PC outbursts and, given half a chance, he’d probably slurp down some frog legs and burp right in Vedder’s face. Do, however, expect Ving to deliver a blistering set of fierce, attitudinal, pax Americana punk. With equally standoffish outfit the Meatmen at 8:30 p.m. at the Black Cat, 1831 14th St. NW. $12.
