The guitars chime on Action Figures‘ Little Citizens, as well they should with a quartet that features three guitarists (who trade off on bass). This local band can’t be dismissed as a mere purveyor of jangle, though. The disc’s 12 songs are tougher than titles like “Caroline,” “Idoline,” and “Dandelion” suggest, and drummer Josh Rowley (and whoever’s on bass) drive them hard.
