Turning the reins over to her dancers, D.C.’s own Liz Lerman lets her Dance Exchange do the choreography themselves in a program titled “Aired Out.” Often publicized for who they are—a nine-member, multigenerational outfit—rather than what they do, these contemporary hoofers apply their varied artistic backgrounds to a range of modern and traditional movements inspired by subjects including everything from television melodrama to life in Guam. Tonight at 8 p.m. and tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Dance Place, 3225 8th St. NE. $10. (202) 269-1600. (Steve Kiviat)
