MATT LABASH IS A WIENER. By insulting the sincere and dedicated animal rights activists at the Farm Animal Reform Movement (FARM) with a smartassed, self-righteous article mocking the Great American Meatout (“Meat Cleavers,” The District Line, 3/24), Labash does a great disservice to an important, increasingly popular movement and comes across as a bitch. That millions of animals are slaughtered each year just for the fleeting taste of their flesh really isn’t funny and certainly isn’t the stuff of cutesy, jeering diatribes like Labash’s disgrace of an article.
Matt, get your meat high somewhere less cruel. Eat tofu, beans, dick. Anything. Just spare the animals.
