Razor 18 sticks to local geography with “P Street Beach,” a surging erotic reverie—“I’m softer than the bed you’re in,” is one of singer Sarah Kenny’s more chaste lines—with a lengthy coda of roiling twin guitars and cooing vocals. This tune is one of two on a 7-inch by the local band (a quintet if you count the fill-in drummer); the flip, “Queen Bee,” is the dreamy one, and it’s entirely respectable, if not as distinctively edgy as the designated A-side. The record is $3.50 from Popfactory, 1010 25th St. NW 706, Washington, DC 20037.
