You may be adept at the art of dream weaving—which, of course, is practiced using headphones and heavy sedation—but here is a chance to brush up on your finger weaving. As part of American Indian Festival Day, Sean StandingBear, director of the Osage Tribal Museum, will demonstrate the age-old technique, handy for making bags and shoulder straps. There will also be demonstrations and discussions of costume-making and traditional Native American storytelling. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Textile Museum, 2320 S St. NW. FREE. (202) 667-0441.
