On Feb. 6, Bob Marley would have been 50 years old. To commemorate the occasion, Marley family friend and local reggae publicist and promoter Dera Tompkins has curated a six-hour video tribute, “Trenchtown Theater”, honoring the legend who held sway over the reggae world like no other performer before or since. The program includes three feature-length documentaries as well as concert-video excerpts. Tompkins, who was recently in Jamaica for an anniversary tribute concert and Marley coin-issuing ceremony, will introduce footage of interviews with the Marley family. From 2-8 p.m. at the Lincoln Theater, 1215 U St. NW. FREE. (202) 783-0360. (Steve Kiviat)
