Preferring Paul Klee to Donald (or even Daffy) Duck, animator Faith Hubley works with abstract and dream images, sometimes derived from pre-Columbian mythology and art. “Faith Hubley: The Animator’s Art” includes five of her short films, including the brand new Send in the Clowns (pictured), and concludes with Sybil DelGaudio’s 30-minute documentary about the film-artist.
