Milli Vanilli must envy John Epperson, star of The Fabulous Lypsinka Show. Not only does Epperson, as hypercampy Lypsinka, make no pretense of the fact that he’s lip syncing—he’s infinitely more hip than the phony-baloney duo. Whether mimicking a gossipy conversation or delivering a show-stopping cabaret number, Lypsinka’s perfectly rouged lips enunciate each syllable and her artfully penciled eyebrows accent every double entendre.
