With the blisters of summer ’93 on the fade, autumn promises cool revelry. What better medium to revel in during the dregs of the hot season than the blues? All day at Prince George’s Community College on Sunday, a posse of blues artists including Bobby Parker, Roosevelt “Booba” Barnes, Etta Baker (pictured), the Orioles, and Archie Edwards will be playing real good—if you heard Parker swapping riffs with Carlos Santana out at Wolf Trap, you know what that means—and for free. Sunday from 1-6 p.m. at Prince George’s Community College, 301 Largo Rd., Largo. FREE. (301) 322-0600. (Michael Dolan)
