Roland Orzabal shares production credit with Pearl Jam producer Tim Palmer on Elemental, the first Tears for Fears release since bandmate Curt Smith decamped in 1991 to pursue an as-yet-unmanifested solo career. Happily, that doesn’t mean Orzabal has traded opulent pop for grunge or that the perennially anguished songwriter is any less so. The similarly pared-down Jellyfish, now working overtime to live down its bout of ’70s revivalism, opens at 8 p.m. at Constitution Hall, 18th & D Sts. NW. $25.50. (202) 628-4780. (NA)
