Washington artists and out-of-town friends have banded together for a benefit performance for the Whitman-Walker Clinic and LifeLink. Produced by Joy of Motion Dance Center, A Celebration of Life will feature the Gay Men’s Chorus, the Consenting Adults Theater Company, and dance companies including Dupont Alley and ShadowDance. Special guest for the event is cabaret star Helen Baldassare, an original cast member for the off-Broadway hit Nunsense. A Celebrity Silent Auction will also be conducted, with autographed items available from the likes of Nick Nolte and Barbra Streisand.
