On its latest, Independent, Arizona quartet Sacred Reich continues to fall short of the fierce promise of its earlier work. But the sound is still appropriately heavy, and Reich maintains its integrity with a doggedness that should make the money-grubbing likes of Metallica hang their heads in shame. Also playing is Souls at Zero, whose self-titled effort, reminiscent of both Pantera and Alice in Chains, far exceeds the Baltimore quartet’s previous efforts as Wrathchild America. Crow Bar opens at 7 p.m. at the Bayou, 3135 K St. NW. $9. (202) 333-2897. (Stephen Kuhn)
