As another of the slew of grindcore bands recently (and inexplicably) signed to Columbia Records, Swedish quintet Entombed tempers its brutality on Wolverine Blues enough to prompt the question: Has the band been hanging with fellow Swedes Ace of Bass? Well, probably not, since Entombed’s grind is satisfactorily vicious, even if vocalist Lars Goran-Petrov’s tenuous grip on English occasionally makes his lyrics more funny than fearsome. At 8 p.m. at the Bayou, 3135 K St. NW. $7.50. (202) 333-2897. (Steve Kuhn)
