IT WAS FUN READING your article about Hendrix collectors (“The Jimi Hendrix Re-Experience,” 10/21). As a post-Hendrix-era fan, it is fascinating to read what he means to other people. The spiritual angle of collecting the personal possessions of this “Voodoo Chile” is particularly interesting. The collectors seem to be possessed by the power of Jimi’s spirit, even as they seek to possess his. Jimi wrote:
I didn’t mean to take up all your sweet time
