Marion Barry has changed his tune, and now implores ebony and ivory Washingtonians to live together in perfect harmony—a song his supporters sing off-key. Last Saturday morning, residents of Adams Morgan were rudely awakened when volunteers blasted the Barry campaign song on loudspeakers. The ditty, with lyrics that lavished praise on Barry and touted his godlike abilities, was sung by a man whose enthusiasm far exceeded his talent. Knowing Barry, the singer will soon be a music teacher in the D.C. Public Schools.
